I liked best the location and the convenience of the nearby vaporetti.The staff was corteous though with no excess. Good value for money.

The staff were very polite and helpful...have wanted to stay there for several years as reccomended by several people and it was always booked up..the wait was worth it.

The rooms facing the front garden and canal are very noisy but I realised too late I should have closed my window and had air-con on

There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel. The staff are purely professional and also friendly at the same time. The rooms are classy and the spacious bathroom is excellent. The breakfast is also excellent serving warm eggs. I stayed at many hotels in Italy, but this is the only one that served scrambled eggs. It is a bit hard to find, but all the hotels in Venice are hard to find. I also arrived in the morning(10AM), but they still let me check-in. The flexibility and hospitality is exceptional.

I noticed some hair on my floor, but that was probably because they let me check in at 10AM in the morning and did not have enough time to throughly clean.

It was a fantastic hotel with comfortable rooms, wonderful garden and delicious breakfast. The hotel was in a great location by the canal. What I liked best about this hotel was the sound of birds flying around me to get some food from my breakfast. The staff was much better and more informative than the ones in other hotels. Thanks for everything...

Great location close to center, but still away from the busiest streets. An atmospheric place. We especially enjoyed breakfasts in the garden.

Internet access required the purchase of rather pricey pre-paid cards.

Easy to find - 20 minute walk from Piazzale Roma. Ideal location near to Accademia bridge - 15 minutes to St Mark's Square. Efficient & helpful staff - more like a home than a hotel with traditional Venetian style. Excellent breakfast.

Excellent location right next to Accademia Bridge - means you can walk to St Marc square, with Guggenheim museum just a few steps away. Central but quiet. Lovely gardens- pleasure to take breakfast in. Recommend afternoon tea (brought with small cakes) in the gardens. Would go there again on next visit to Venice.

Location near Accademia and Academia Bridge. Gardens for sitting.

The weather (wind, low temperatures and snow!) meant that in our case the garden and sitting out areas were unusable and those had been the main reasons for our booking Villa Maravege. In warmer weather these would definitely have proved an asset for Venice accommodation. The best featuret of the hotel is its traditional Venetian feel and its location, with an excellent Taverna opposite whcih proved a welcome asset.

The location is perfect and it has two gardens, a luxury in Venice. It is quirky and interestingly furnished. The staff were very helpful.

Not a complaint, but it is definitely slightly overpriced.
